People arrive here expecting the food to be the exotic part. It rarely is. What the kitchen leans on when someone turns up depleted is mostly unglamorous, and most of it is available wherever you live.

What tends to be on the plate

The part nobody wants to hear

Timing and regularity do more than any ingredient list. Guests who eat three real meals at roughly the same times each day usually feel different within a week, and they have often changed nothing else.

Coffee and alcohol are the other half of the conversation, and it is the half people would rather skip. Neither is forbidden here. Both are worth looking at honestly if sleep is poor.

A caution on lists like this one

No food treats anxiety, and a diet is not a substitute for care if you are struggling. If stress has tipped into something that is affecting your sleep, your work or your relationships, that is worth raising with your own doctor rather than managing with groceries.

See functional nutrition for how food is built into a protocol here, or The Table for what it actually looks like.
