PEMF sessions on a full-body mat, delivered as part of a protocol set by our medical team.
PEMF is delivered here on a full-body mat with a control unit that sets intensity and programme. Sessions happen in a treatment room looking out over the lawn, and an audio-visual headset is available if you want the session to be a genuine break rather than twenty minutes of lying still.
You lie fully clothed on the mat. Most people feel very little — at higher intensities some notice a faint pulsing. Sessions run eight to twenty-four minutes depending on the programme, and they are commonly scheduled next to something else rather than as a trip of their own.
Anyone with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, cochlear implant, insulin pump or other active implanted device. Also pregnancy, and active bleeding. If you have any implanted electronic device at all, tell us before you travel — this one is not negotiable and the mat will not be used.
PEMF has a research literature of mixed quality and a marketing literature of uniformly high confidence. We are not going to tell you it recharges your cells. It is offered where the medical team judges it a reasonable addition to a protocol, and no outcome is promised or implied.
