Nanopore

A cosmetic skin treatment using nanoneedling, offered by trained practitioners.

Nanopore is a cosmetic skin treatment. It belongs on this list for completeness, but it is worth saying plainly that it sits apart from the clinical work — nobody should travel here for it.

What a session is like

A handheld device passes over cleansed skin using a fine nanoneedle tip, followed by a serum. It is more superficial than traditional microneedling and does not usually draw blood. A session takes around forty-five minutes including preparation.

Expect redness for a day or so. Skip direct sun and wear high-factor protection afterwards — at this altitude that matters more than most people expect.

Who it is not for

Active acne, eczema, rosacea flares, cold sores, any open lesion, recent isotretinoin use, keloid scarring tendency, or pregnancy. Also worth skipping if your protocol already has your skin working hard.

Mountains of Hope holds a Colombian IPS medical facility licence. This is cosmetic, and we would rather label it that way than dress it up.

Whether this is right for you is a medical question.
