An advanced therapy available at Mountains of Hope under medical prescription only, as part of a protocol built by our medical team.
Prescription only. NK cell therapy is available solely under medical prescription, as part of a protocol assembled by our medical team following diagnostics. It is not offered as a treatment for, or a means of curing or reversing, any disease or condition. Nothing on this page is medical advice.
Natural killer cells are a type of white blood cell and part of the body's innate immune system. Unlike much of the immune response, they do not need to be primed by prior exposure to act. They are a normal, well-described component of human immunology, and they are the subject of a large and still-developing body of research.
The procedure is a cell therapy delivered in our clinical area by medical staff. It begins with bloodwork and a physician consultation, and it is scheduled around the rest of a guest's protocol rather than as a standalone appointment. Guests are monitored during administration and afterwards.
Because it is a prescription therapy, the decision to offer it rests with our medical director on the basis of a guest's diagnostics, medical history and current care. Some guests who ask about it are not prescribed it. That is a clinical judgement and it is not negotiable commercially.
We do not publish outcome figures, percentages or recovery claims for this therapy, and we would be cautious of anyone who does. The honest position is that cell therapies are an active research area, that individual responses vary, and that no outcome is promised or implied here.
If you are considering this as part of care for a diagnosed condition, the right conversation is between your own physician and our medical team — not between you and a web page. We will speak to your doctor directly if you would like us to.
Advanced therapies are a small part of what happens at Mountains of Hope. The larger part is pre-arrival sample analysis, on-site diagnostics including brain mapping, functional medicine, the food, the water circuit, sleep, and time. A protocol that included nothing but an advanced therapy would not be a protocol.
Mountains of Hope holds a Colombian IPS medical facility licence. Every therapy here is delivered by, or under the direction of, our medical team.
