Ferhan started to go back to socializing after the pandemic, red flags started to pop up when seeing the reaction of his friends and family to the overweight and diabetic version of himself. After getting tested, the wake-up call hit hard. His blood panel results were alarming, and a lifestyle change was imperative.

Ferhan was prescribed metformin and a statin medication but hesitated to take them. He’d witnessed family members experience debilitating side effects from medications, leading to lifelong dependency. Determined to reclaim his health, Ferhan took charge.

Drawing from his prior experience with the keto diet and extensive research, he decided to implement it to manage his diabetes and shed excess weight. He began waking up earlier, spending time outdoors in the sunshine, practicing breathwork exercises, walking up hills, and gradually incorporating cardio and strength training.
